Last FM bands of the Week.

1. The Doors-The other day on Facebook I saw a page saying,God if you bring us Jim Morrison we will give you Justin Bieber.  This page is up to my liking and so are The Doors. One of the most influential rock bands EVER. They have a very unique sound and Jim Morrison was a true rockstar. I recommend the songs LA Woman,Roadhouse Blues,Back Door Man and Hello,I love you.

2. The Smiths- It was a couple months ago I heard my first Smiths song on Radio 104.5. Ever since that day its been true love with them. Everything Morrissey touches turns into pure gold and that is no different for the Smiths. I recommend the Albums Meat is Murder and The Smiths.

3. The Cure- My broken foot put me in a pretty dark mood this week. So I immediately turned to The Cure to do its job.  Like The Smiths they are pioneers in Alternative Music and if you listen to the songs Pictures of You,A Forest,In Between Days and Friday I’m In Love. You will find out.

4. Brandon Flowers.- He doesn’t look a thing like Jesus,but Brandon Flowers new hit song Crossfire sounds like Jesus. Good Tune and expect a Solo Album soon from the Killers lead man.

5. MGMT- These guys are no longer Kids anymore,but they have matured very nicely. With their Sophmore album Congratulations. Many people will be saddened that their is not a Electric Feel,Kids type of song on their. But it is still solid. Check out the songs It’s Working,Siberian Breaks and Flashium Deliruim.

The Return.

Bedrock.

Ever hear a song and wonder why the hell that is popular? Whenever I hear that song Bedrock I think boy that song stinks. Really I miss those days of Rap when they would actually rap about their lives and struggles. Instead now they rap about being Fled Flinstone and makeing your bedrock.  How this song

That’s why I love K’Naan so much and think he is the greatest Rapper Alive. He is straight outta Somalia and for people that think you hood becuase your from Cherrywood or Camden. Somalia makes those people and towns looks like Luxury. What I about K’Naan is just by the way he raps you can tell the struggles he had overcome. Next Time Young Money has trouble makeing someone bed rock he should pop in a K’Naan CD and take a listen.

My Last Fm Bands of the Week.

1. Radiohead- So Miley how is that plan to destroy them? I guess it will never work out since Radiohead is amazing.  Even though everyone and their second cousin loves Kid A my favorite albums are The Bends and In Rainbows. If you don’t lend them an ear I’ll have to call the Karma Police.
2. Butch Walker- There are only a select few bands(Killers,Kings of Leon,Dashboard) every one of their albums is great. Add Butch Walker to this mix, after hearing his cover of You Belong with Me I was hooked. His newest album I Liked It Better When You Had No Heart is soothing to the ears.
3. The Hooters- Bob Saget,Declaration of Independence and Crab Fries are all great things that come out of the cIty of Brotherly Love. Add The Hooters to that list of prestige too. Even though their 15 minutes were doing the 80′s they are still worth that time now. Listen to All you Zombies and And we Danced.
4. Kings of Leon- They can do a Screamo album and I’d still be in awe about how great it is.
5. Bruce Springsteen- Jersey Shore may be the talk of the Garden State,but Bruce Springsteen is still the Boss. I used to be a fool when I said he was overrated. But listening to songs like Thunder Road,Cover Me and Dancing in the Dark made me change my mind. My all time favorite from the boss is Atlantic City which brings a tear to my eye.

iMute.

One has to wonder why Steve Jobs or Bill Gates think of this yet! The iMute will work and is needed when.

1. During those great times when you have to hear someone for the 5,000 time explain why Linkin Park or Cannibal Corpse are their favorites bands.
2. For when in School when you have to hear that one kid who always talks about his band that is amazing that always breaks up two weeks later.
3. When someone says something “amusing” from the Hangover.
4. Whenever someone says the word Fist Pump too many times. GTL I can make a exception for.
5. Every Eagles fan that puts all the blame on Donavan McNabb. Its his fault that the Eagles line can’t block.
6. An iMute on Facebook during the Phillies Playoffs and Major Snowstorms.

Last FM Bands of the Week-Presented by K-Neezy.

Many people think of me as the guy that only listens to The Killers and Dashboard Confessional. They are my favroite bands but I listen to much more then them. Every week I’ll post the top 5 most played bands on my Last Fm account on here.

1. Andrew Dice Clay- He is the farthest thing from Music,but the joy of Last Fm besides being on XBOX is you can listen to whoever you want. When people say their favorite comedians the following will come up,Dane Cook,Jeff Dunham and his puppet or George Lopez. All of which with the exception of Dane Cook are pretty funny guys. Me being different always say Andrew Dice Clay. His attitude and style are nowhere to be found in comedians today and I love his Nursery Ryhmes.

2.The Kooks.- A great Indie rock band from the UK. They have the catchiest songs and everytime I hear  Luke Pritchard’s voice I instantly get into a good mood. I love the album Konk and you should listen to songs like Love it All,Do You Wanna and Shine on.

3. The Rolling Stones.- I wish bands today had the swagga the Stones had in every one of their songs. I love the energy that Mick Jagger and the rest of the bands have in their songs. I am a little emo at the fact that they are not touring in 2010. Songs I recommend are Bitch,Miss You,Can’t you hear me Knocking,19th nervous breakdown and Under my Thumb.

4. Butch Walker.- I don’t understand why people don’t know him. He produced some very good emo/rock/pop punk albums for some pretty big bands and him solo is really good. If you decide to take my great word listen to his remake of  Kanye West’s favorite song You Belong with Me. ALso I like the songs Pretty Pretty,My Way,Mixtape,Subarbia,Passed Your Place, Saw Your Car, Thought Of You.

5. The Killers- I got a Hot Fuss songbook for Christmas for my Guitar. I was pretty excited to get that gift and if you listen to their best album Hot Fuss you will see why. Songs like Jenny was a Friend of Mine,On Top,Believe Me Natalie and All These Things That I’ve Done and My personal favorites Somebody Told me and Mr. Brightside. Every Killers album is amazing but this album is simply the best.

You got Questions. I have Answers.

For about the umpteenth time it has been reported that Allen Iverson is coming back to Philly. I love his style of play,but this time it doesn’t seem right. Personally I hate this deal and I have so many “Sixers” fans coming up to me saying how can you hate this deal Kyle? Here’s Why.

Q: Iverson’s so great for this team.

A: Wrong. Both Denver and Detroit got better when he left and didn’t play. He is a shell of his former self.

Q: He’s gonna lead us to the playoffs!

A: This may be the cause,but for me I say Eff the Playoffs. I’d rather see the Sixers get a talented pick in the Lottery, then being sweept by the Cavs or Magic. Then Stefanksi and crew will say, we made it to the Playoffs I think we are a good team and we will be stuck in years of getting 6th or 7th seeds in the playoffs.

Q: He will help our attendance.

A: For about 5 games,he will.  Then the rest will depend on if the Sixers continue to crap the bed or not.  If they won games instead of finding ways to lose attendance would be fine.

Q; He will help our young players.

A: Never. Luckily when Lou Williams comes back if he starts to act up. They can cut Iverson. The sixers have a young talented team and they don’t need a Cancer like Iverson being a Bad Influence to guys like Williams and Jru Holliday.

Q: You must have never watched a Basketball Game.

A: This question annoys me so much. Just because I don’t think Iverson is a good fit for this team does not mean I don’t know basketball. So many people are thinking he is going to be the night in shining armor and save the Sixers. He is not and he will never will be.

This move reminds me alot of the Terrell Owens to Buffalo deal. Both teams are desparate for attendance. Both players have tremendous skills. But with their attitutudes both of them will never win a Championship.

How Does this Go Again?

It feels so good to be back again. Between School,Homework,Me and My Amigo’s Polarizing Youtube Channel. I needed a break from writing and I feel like a new man. I will try to keep this thing going as long as you still read it. I appreciate everyone that has come up to me or the people assoicated with my sites saying how much they love this stuff. • On another note I am tired of Animal Rights Activists. You have a idea will this is probably heading and I hope all those people that say Michael Vick should be given the Death Penalty are Angels,cause of you probably needed a Second Chance at one point.
• JVR stole my heart at the Flyers Game I was at on Tuesday Night and he is going to be a hell of a Player.
• Brad Lidge breaks my heart everytime the Phillies send him out there,the same feeling I got whenever they had Tom Gordon saving a game.
